Dr. Wael Ramadan is a Professor of Project Management and Strategy at Pilon School of Business in Canada. He is an internationally experienced consultant, author and speaker.
Wael has taught and trained thousands of learners and professionals at some of the best schools in the US, Canada and The Netherlands. He was also selected as Master Training Consultant for AMIDEAST. Wael also led several World Bank and EU funded projects and programs.
Wael is the author of the book entitled: “The Asset That Money Can’t Buy” in 2013 and he is a contributing author to the best-seller in project management in 2020: “The Keys To Our Success” in Canada.
Wael’s contributions to the professional community include serving on Boards of professional organizations including: Project Management Institute (PMI) – Lakeshore Chapter as President (2013-2014), Editorial Board Member of Universal Journal of Management (UJOM), Chair of Advisory Committee for MLM Graduate Program at Ryerson University.
As an entrepreneur, Wael co-founded and led two manufacturing businesses from scratch to market leadership and he enjoyed negotiating and winning two national bids.
Wael earned his PhD in 2009 from Cleveland State University (US), during which he taught in the MBA program at CSU. His research focused on business strategy and the sustainable competitive advantage of (SMEs). Wael finished his MBA in 2002 with Distinction from Maastricht School of Management (The Netherlands), and his Bachelor of Engineering in 1991 from University College London (England).
Wael is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), LRQA – ISO Quality Auditor (2000), and Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2001. Wael is the recipient of numerous academic scholarships including the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship.
Wael has designed and delivered 5000+ hours of PMP Exam Prep training and he is a frequent speaker at PMI Conferences and professional organizations.
